It does these things mainly through its international journal the Skeptical Inquirer, its newsletter, the Skeptical Briefs, its academic conferences, workshops, and it serves as an important resource to news media seeking scientific perspective on claims and issues involving the paranormal, fringe-sciences, and pseudoscience.

ucb-logo-transUnited Church of Bacon

The United Church of Bacon is turning Penn Jillette’s former Las Vegas Mansion into the world’s first atheist megachurch, Atheist Heaven! Mock us for “worshipping bacon” (which can be vegetarian or turkey) and then mock mainstream religions, too.

We’ve raised $200,000 for AIDS, autism, cancer, and atheist causes. We work to end discrimination against atheists, and protest religious legal privileges.

We need your help! Our crowdfunding campaign to renovate and operate Atheist Heaven begins September 8. Building momentum is vital. See for cartoons, a sneak preview of our big plans, a Penn Jillette video, and a Day One reminder!
