Need a Traveling Companion?

The JREF will keep a list of folks (by gender, age group and smoking preference) who are looking for someone to share expenses and sleeping quarters. If we think we have found a possible match we will advise each of you so you may communicate and let us know if you would like to travel together.

While we strongly encourage the purchase of trip cancellation and interruption insurance for all; it is imperative all persons matched in a cabin buy insurance. If a traveler cancels for a covered reason the traveling companion will not need to locate another companion and will be eligible for reimbursement for the single supplement upgrade.

If a cancellation occurs, the JREF may find the travel suppliers will not be able to accept a substitute traveler due to travel and booking circumstances. It is the responsibility of the remaining traveler to cover costs in the event of lack of insurance or cancellation for a non-covered reason.

Email cruise@randi.org for more information about being matched with a travel companion.

Cancelation Policy

Full refund less a $200 Per Person administrative fee will be given for cancelations before September 25, 2012. Reservations become non-refundable for any reason after September 25, 2012.

Documentation

All guests must carry proof of citizenship, original documentation required. We highly recommend that you carry a passport as your proof of citizenship whenever leaving the United States or your country of citizenship. Please be sure to check with the proper agencies and authorities (such as your local immigration office) before you sail because you can’t board the ship without the proper documents.

It is wise to make two copies of your passport; bring one with you and leave one at home. Also bring two extra passport photos in case of passport loss or theft.

Do make copies of all important documents, like credit cards, driver’s license and medical information and leave a copy with a family member or friend.

Age Requirements

Infants must be at least six months of age at time of sailing. Passengers under the age of 18 must travel with an accompanying adult. Accompanying adults who are not the minor’s parent or legal guardian must have appropriate release forms.
